Leila by the Bay

Leila by the Bay is your next family brunch destination or date night hotspot. Located in a niche community within Historical Hercules, Leila's atmosphere offers a comfortable contemporary space inspired by the antiquity of the city it sits in. They play the best oldies but goodies playlist, creating a space perfect for dining with friends and family. The restaurant is nestled comfortably on a hill that overlooks the beautiful San Pablo Bay.

Leila's serves healthy, fresh, and from scratch, California cuisine. For my meal, I had the turkey sandwich special of the day. Pictured below, I indulged in a sourdough sandwich stuffed with: turkey, bacon, avocado, and the fix-ins, of which I topped with a cranberry preserve. The spinach salad was tossed in a deliciously sweet balsamic vinegrette. Now that I think about it, I could use another serving!

I enjoy the atmosphere of Leila's because it is cozy, quaint, and lively! My sister enjoyed a Scrimshaw Pilsner and the view of the bay from our lunch table. There is a spacious outdoor eating area, perfect for dining in when weather permits!

My dad enjoys the plush leather couches in the waiting area near the entrance of the building. I love the stylish decor of the establishment because it is inviting, warm, and modestly classy!
