What is a Foodventure?

This word came to my mind about 7 years ago when I realized that my daily adventures were food-motivated. To me, a foodventure is any trip one makes to a food destination; regardless of the distance! My foodventures have taken me all over Northern & Southern California, to Pennsylvania, to Germany & Hungary. I have worked in Farmer's Markets all over Northen California where I found my appreciation for agriculture, farmers, and locally sourced goods from small, family-owned businesses. I strive to support these business before I go to larger named restaurants. Throughout my life and studies, I discovered that I have an insatiable appetite for food, culture, and thought.

I can bet that many of us have gone on foodventures because food is all around us, but it is the way we find our food that creates the thrill, anticipation, and excitement to indulge. I strive to inspire others through the power of food, cooking, and baking. Has anyone else said, "the only way to my heart is throught my stomach"? If so, this is the blog for you!
